As part of the usage terms of our website, You, the user (“you”), will be asked to provide financial, demographic and contact information. This notice describes our privacy policy concerning the collection, use and dissemination of this information. We, Teatro ZinZanni (“TZ”), are committed to protecting the privacy and accuracy of your confidential information. Other than as required by state and federal laws that guarantee access or require information disclosure, your personally identifiable information is not shared without your permission. Please review this policy periodically, as it is subject to change.

By accepting this Privacy Policy and Terms of Use, you consent to the use and dissemination practices prescribed in this policy. This privacy policy is not indented to, and does not create any contractual or other legal rights in or on behalf of TZ.

Information collected:

As part of our ticket ordering process, TZ collects your contact information (name, mailing address, email address and phone number), financial information (passwords, credit and debit card numbers, and bank or financial transaction numbers), computer network information (IP address, web pages requested, referring web page, browser, and date and time), and demographic information (gender, purchase history, sales information, and personal preferences and interests). The term “personal information” refers collectively to contact information, financial information, computer networks information and demographic information. The preceding list serves as examples only and may be expanded or modified without notice to users. Please note that we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. We may collect personal information through customer surveys, contests, subscriptions, and newsletter registration.

TZ’s web site may collect personal information such as name, address, e-mail address, telephone number(s), and/or performing arts interests. Furnishing the specifically designated information requested on our web ticket purchase or donation forms, including name, full address, email address, and credit card payment information is necessary for online purchase and to process all tax-deductible donations. Full name and address are also collected for purposes of fulfilling brochure requests via online form. In addition, email addresses and performing arts interests are necessary to process all promotional and special order requests. Not only does this personal information allow TZ to process your purchases, but it also allows us to update this information to maintain an accurate database and remove duplicates.

Use of collected information:

TZ may use your information for the purpose of order fulfillment issues, quality assurance, and sales analysis. Contact information may be used to notify users of new services or content updates, as well as for surveys and newsletters. Financial information may be used for customer billing, advertising and marketing purposes. Computer network information may be used to diagnose service issues with our site and for demographic purposes. Demographic information may be used to enhance the user experience and to provide a content specific experience and for marketing purposes.

Much of this information is collected by the use of “Cookies.” Like most commercial websites, we use cookies to deliver content specific information, and to track purchases user activity on the website. Cookies are generally described as alphanumeric identifiers that are stored on your computer’s hard drive to enable recognition of your web browser. The use of cookies also allows the user to retrieve prior usage information and receive an enhanced user experience on the website. Sensitive personal information is not stored within these cookies. TZ only sends marketing communications and offers to those who specifically opt-in to the service and submit their email addresses for that purpose. We will not sell to, trade or share email addresses with companies or other organizations without your express permission. You are given the opportunity to opt-out of our mailing list at any time. We may share anonymous, grouped information with advertisers for marketing purposes.

Financial information is transmitted to the appropriate credit card company, including its third party processors and banking agents, during processing. Financial information may be disclosed to third parties under limited circumstances, including the credit card issuer, financial institutions, dispute resolution, “will call” ticket pick-up, and to comply with law enforcement, fraud prevention, or transfer of assets of TZ. We will not be responsible or otherwise liable for any use or disclosure of your financial information under this privacy policy.

On the website, you may find hypertext links to web sites operated by third parties. Some of these websites may include our brand names while others do not. TZ does not control the content or information practices of external organizations. We recommend you review the privacy statements of these organizations.

Protecting your information:

TZ diligently works to protect your personal information during transmission by using industry standard methods of Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software, which encrypts the information you provide. Your information data is stored in a secure, off-site location in a password-protected server.

Your password is your key to your user account. TZ will not ask you to provide your password in an unsolicited phone call or email message. You may also work to protect your information by using safe browsing practices such as: closing your browser window when you have finished; logging out of your account on a shared access computer; and data transmission on a wireless network. If you can’t remember your password, the reminder phrase you entered can be emailed to you.
